Nukus branch of institute of Immunology and human genomics of the academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Scientific research of the branch: studying the most common variants of congenital immune disorders in the Republic of Karakalpakstan: characterization of clinical and immunological cases.

Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 5, 2018, No. PK-3838 “On Additional Measures for the Development of Fundamental and Applied Research, as well as Innovative Work in the Field of Immunology and Human Genomics” a branch of the institute was established in the Republic of Karakalpakstan without legal entity status.

Since 2018 and up to the present time, the branch has been headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences A.N. Kalandarova.

During the existence of the laboratory, the following issues have been studied:

Immunological profile (normative indicators) of the population in various regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan;

Study of the prevalence of congenital immune disorders, the most common variants of clinical and immunological conditions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The branch closely collaborates with medical universities and research institutes in Uzbekistan, as well as with institutions abroad.

Amina Nurullaevna Kalandarova – Doctor of Medical Sciences.

Research Areas: Fundamental and Clinical Immunology, Environmental Immunology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neonatology, and other directions.
