Andijan branch of the intitute of immunology and human genomics of the Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The laboratory’s research is focused on studying the role of excessive pro-inflammatory immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage, the role of protease inhibitors, sex hormones, alarmins – early warning signals for the immune system and DNA methylation as an epigenetic factor in the mechanisms of development of excessive immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage.

According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. M. Mirziyoyev, the Andijan branch of the Institute of Immunology and Human Genomics was opened in 2018. From 2018 to 2021, the laboratory was headed by Ph.D., associate professor D.Usmanova. From 2021 to 2023, the laboratory was headed by PhD, associate professor O. Egamberdiev. From 2023 to the present – headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor V.A. Aleynik. 4 candidate’s theses were prepared and defended in the laboratory.

During the existence of the laboratory, the following problems were studied:

– the effect of hemalin in the treatment of viral infections;

– the influence of excessive pro-inflammatory immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage;

– changes in cellular immunity and cytokines in excessive pro-inflammatory immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage;

– the role of protease inhibitors in the mechanisms of excessive proinflammatory immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage.

– the role of sexual activity in the mechanisms of excessive proinflammatory immune reactions in the early stages of miscarriage.

The laboratory works in close cooperation with the Andijan State Medical Institute.

Aleynik Vladimir Alekseevich – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor

Area of research: physiology and pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, fundamental and clinical immunology, epigenetics.

V.A. Aleynik has published more than 485 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 9 textbooks, as well as 9 patents issued by the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 5 teaching aids have also been published. Under his leadership, 9 highly qualified specialists were trained, 2 of whom are doctors of science, and 7 are candidates of science. V.A. Aleynik was the first to prove the influence of the physicochemical interaction of nutrients on the disintegration of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in the upper gastrointestinal tract. In addition, he substantiated the influence of changes in the disintegration of nutrients on the formation of diseases of the stomach and duodenum. He argued the role of sterile inflammation in the occurrence of excessive pro-inflammatory immune reactions in women in the early stages of miscarriage. Based on the research results, the proposed teaching aids are widely used in practical medicine. Currently, scientific research by V.A. Aleinica include fundamental and clinical immunology, epigenetics. Physiology and pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, ophthalmology, surgery and other areas.
